Join world-famous calligrapher, Charles Pearce, in a series of lettering arts workshops in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Charles opens his newly designed and built Whiskey Spring Studio in the beautiful Ozark mountains, to calligraphers for hands-on training. These workshops are designed to give you six days of classroom time to cover a large amount of new material and learn new skills with one-on-one instruction. Class fees are $100 per day for the six day
workshop. This will cover class time, lunch, and probably one
or two dinners at the studio. Students are responsible for arranging
their own travel and accommodations - a packet will be sent to
all students prior to the class with information on Eureka Springs
including traveling to and around, accommodations, restaurants
and sightseeing. A detailed workshop itinerary will be also be
included. Whiskey Spring Studio Workshop Enrollment: Please print and complete the Whiskey Spring Studio workshop enrollment form. Mail it, with your deposit (check or money order) to: Whiskey
Spring Studio Class size is limited to eight (8) students, allowing maximum one-on-one instruction. Enroll quickly to reserve your place at the workshop on a first come, first served basis. A deposit of $300 (50%) is due at the time of enrollment. The final payment of $300 is due one month prior to the workshop date. Because Whiskey Spring Studio relies on your attendance to make class arrangements and because of the small class size, 50% of the deposit will be refunded if you withdraw one month prior to the class. If cancellation is made within the final 30 days prior to the workshop, the deposit is forfeit. In the event that a workshop must be cancelled due to inadequate enrollment, all fees and deposits are refunded in full or may be transferred to another Whiskey Spring Studio workshop within 12 months. Transportation and Accommodations: A course description with supply list will be mailed after your enrollment form has been received. Each student is responsible for transportation to and from Eureka Springs and for accommodations. Information about Eureka Springs, traveling to and from, hotels and motels, restaurants and points of interest will be included with the course description or click here. Whiskey Spring Studio is a short drive from downtown Eureka Springs. Lunch each day will be provided. Basic calligraphy supplies will be provided as outlined in the course description. Please be advised that the nearest arts supply store is 200 miles away, so please bring supplies with you. Safety: Whiskey Spring Studio and Eureka Springs are within the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. Please be prepared for a mountainous and forested environment. Some of the workshop time may be held out of doors, weather permitting. For your safety, please bring appropriate clothes and shoes.
